I really prefer to meet people face to face and as per usual my forays into the tech age are tentative to say the least. I'm a book slave by trade and have worked in four total (I don't count the two weeks I spent at The Strand in NY trying to live Manhattan. I love NY hugely but will have to settle being a tourist as financially it is impossible to live there). I love Portland though. Adore it actually and love the weather. I'm always a bit baffled when people complain about the grey, cold, cloudy days. I love it. It's the sun I can't tolerate and tend to die a little when Summer hits. If one longs for sun so much why live here? I'm a vorcaious reader and read to roughly a book a week. I don't think of my reading so regularly as an accomplishment as some tend to do.
