I have a highly romanticized view of the world, but the morbid, dark side of life absolutely fascinates me. Take, for instance, my interest in history. My professor who I've had last semester, and this semester, asks us to give him a suggestion and tell what we like to research for out term papers. I have put 'something morbid, please' both times I have had him. The first time I got The Plague. That made me happy. Especially learning about flinging dead, plague infected bodies over walled cities with catapults to infect enemies. That is just really cool.
