All of our primitive country benches feature solid joinery and are built to last. Not simply nailed and screwed together. The legs are dadoed to the sides and the shelf is also dadoed into the legs. This interlocks the sides to the legs and the shelf to the legs. This process will give you a bench much sturdier and longer lasting then something just nailed or screwed together. Standard size is 17 inches high, 11 inches wide, and 48 inches long. Other standard sizes available from 24 inches to 60 inches long and it can also be made wider or higher for use as a table.

This is the second in our dragon fireplace bellows series. Since Roy had already done a Chinese Dragon, he wanted to try a European dragon. This design is an amalgam of numerous pictures that he studied. To enhance the European connection, Roy carved a Celtic knot around the intake port. The bellows are carved in maple, and the background around each carving in textured. Dimensions: 20-1/4" long, 7-3/8" wide, 5" deep when open, and 2" deep when closed
