The Collected Publications of the Illinois Terminal Railroad Historical Society By: Larry Miller, Jr. and Larry Miller III. The Illinois Terminal Railroad Historical Society published newsletters and calendars from 1976 through 1991 and only the first two volumes are not included in this collection (due to Copyright dispute, as noted in the introduction). Over 560 pages have been scanned and are accessible on this one CD (compact disk). These publications are packed with reproduction photographs, drawings, postcards, blueprints and specifications including the Illinois Traction System and Illinois Terminal Railroad Company’s electrified freight equipment and interurban passenger service, steam engines and diesel motive power, wayside structures and buildings, company advertisements, Annual Reports, as well as other Illinois Terminal memorabilia.

Pocket Watch - Illinois 19 Jewel Wolverine conversion Cr. 1915 Illinois 19 Jewel Wolverine Conversion Cr. 1915 This watch is a rare Illinois private label Wolverine factory conversion. Manufactured in 1915 by the Illinois Watch Company of Springfield,Illinois and features a 19 Jewel movement adjusted to 3 positions, with a double roller and micrometric regulator, gold train and gold jewel settings. The movement, a 16 size grade 305, also shows a good example of Illinois use of multi color toning and damascening, and private label marking (Wolverine). The watch was updated, most likely by Illinois at a later date from a hunter case to an open face style, and has a factory metal painted conversion dial, and a later model railroad #128 case. The case is a 10K gold filled Keystone Victory and shows no brassing.

21 Jewel Illinois Burlington Pocket Watch Cr. 1921. Size 16 21 Jewel Illinois Burlington Pocket Watch Cr. 1921. Size 16 This fine watch was made in 1921 by the Illinois watch Company of Springfield, Illinois. It has a 21 Jewel, railroad grade movement, adjusted to temperature and 5 positions. Features lever setting,a gold train, gold jewel settings, double roller, and a micrometric regulator. The engraving on the back is a cartouche, a shield but not personalized. The movement is clean and the watch runs well. The dial is porcelain, double-sunk with bold Arabic numerals, and has no chips or hairlines. The crystal is scratch free. Hands are blued steel, and are correct for the watch. The case is a gold filled Imperial 20 year, and has some light wear, but no brassing. Overall, the watch is in excellent running condition and this high-grade railroad would make a fine addition to any collection. Graded excellent as per TimeZone grading parameters. $285 Questions?
