This is a hand-pulled, original print I made of the land next to the Mississippi River levee here in Baton Rouge. I go on-site, make sketches of what I catches my eye, and go back to the studio ready to make some prints. Lithography is a printmaking process where I draw on a big flat stone (I used grease crayons and lithographic tusche/ink) and etch the stone with acid. I print copies off the stone by keeping the stone damp and using an inky roller to add ink. This way, the ink only sticks to where I had drawn. I printed it on a piece of 30" x 44" Stonehenge white paper. Thanks
