As of today, October 4th, I still haven't been back to my place since several days before the storm hit. I was in Lafayette at a friends for 1 week plus. Then I came up to D.C. to get my grandmother up to my sister's place so she could be more comfortable. And I have been here ever since. But I leave tommorow. I don't know what all precisely faces me down there. I know my place is still there and should be livable. But long term I don't know what all is going to happen. But for the next few months at the very least I'll be in the South Louisiana area helping my parent's, sister, cousin, and grandmother all get their lives back together. Which brings me to the point of this.. Just about everyone I know that is not family has moved away. And I will need socialization over the next few months or I'm gonna go insane.
