By all accounts, I ought to be a very serious and responsible adult right now, but a good part of me feels that the weight of the real world is a hassle that I just don't want to handle right now. I am a very spontaneous and live-for-the-moment sort of individual, which isn't always conducive with being successful in today's society. I'm a recent transplant into DC, sort of. I grew up there, but never really experienced the city, always being under my parent's collective thumb. Then I went off to college, gained a good deal of regard for personal freedom, and now I am back in the area, taking a break from work to figure out where my life is going. I really want to get to experience the city firsthand in a fun sort of way, particularly the night life.
