Museum quality Folk Art paintings oil on canvas of Uriah & Maria Beach of Manchester,Michigan by Ammi Phillips or his school. Both of these paintings have not been restored,untouched and without cleaning. They have been in the same southern home since 1905 when the family moved south. The paintings with the frames measure 34 x 38" inches and the portraits themselves measure 24 x 29" inches. Uriah Beach married Maria Gerald Westcott in New York and moved to Manchester,Michigan w both lived out their lives. Uriah according to records was born in Vermont and Maria was born August 26th 1806 in Butler,New York. He was listed as a furnace man and molder in the Manchester,Michigan census. They adopted several children along the way. Oddly the children's names kept changing with each census search. Around 1870 Uriah died and was buried in Manchester,Michigan. Maria died somew in the 1880's.
