Hello future roommate =) ( Okay, so I am being hopeful ) I am renting a room in my 3 bedroom house. It is located about 10 minutes outside of Kalamazoo between Plainwell and Richland, about 2 miles from Lake Doster at East Baseline and 1st St. The house is 10 minutes from Plainwell, 15 minutes from Kalamazoo, 25 minutes from Battle Creek, and 45 minutes from Grand Rapids. It is available for immediate occupancy as of Dec 1st. My current roommate moved to be closer to work. The house is in a private and mostly secluded spot on 6 acres. There is a pond and river going through the back yard. There are lots of trees. It is very peaceful. The house has 2 bathrooms, washer, dryer, fireplace, dishwasher. There is a two story garage/barn. Parking would be in the driveway. The house is furnished. There is a bed in the room being rented. Bring your own furniture or I can store it. Rent is $350 a month with a $350.00 deposit.

I own a home in the kalamazoo/portage area...(near Best Buy on S. Westnedge.) I am looking for someone who would be interested in renting a room. Currently I have 2 other roommates, but both will be leaving by the end of April. The house is well kept up and very clean. We are a mix of working professionals and college students. I am looking for someone who is clean, non smoker, no pets or kids and can be respectful of others. We always have good times at the house so if you are interested give a call or drop me an email. Rent is 275.00 a month and covers water, sewage, trash, phone, cable TV and high speed internet. Roommates split the electric and gas bills each month which average 25.00 to 30.00 bucks a month. It is great here, perfect for NON-partying and relaxed quiet environment with 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, washer/dryer, dishwaher, deck, walk-out basement, garage, extremely quiet friendly, family neighborhood. It is right in between both Grand Valley campuses and about 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, location is great, just a few minutes from the highway. I am not looking for anybody that is a partier, I don't mind if you are under 21 as long as you are responsible and not a party animal. I am very laid back and easy going and like to keep things neat and clean. I just ask the same in my future roommates.
