I'm in Graduate School and that seems to take up a large bulk of my time which takes away from meeting people outside of a bar - and let's face it, people in a bar are only looking to hook up. I just moved into a place by myself and have hit that lonely place. I realize I need some new companionship. I've been single for 7 year and I don't regret it. It's just time to be a grown up and take the next step. I tend to be the "joker" of my group, and I enjoy being social. I'd love to get out and learn about some of Lansing's history. I'd also love to meet someone who likes to travel and would like to show me the rest of the state. The one exception to that rule is spiders. I hate them with a passion and really? It took me four months to get moved completely into my apartment, but I finally feel at home! My family is extremely important to me, and I still drive two hours home at least one weekend a month to spend time with them. They can be a unique breed at times, but they are amazing. I am planning on sitting for the RHIT exam in 2009. I work in home health care for seniors and sick children. Most of my clients have some form of dementia as well as Parkinsonâs or Alzheimerâs. The children usually have autoimmune diseases and have complications requiring extra care. I try to always stay busy which isnât hard with work, studying for the RHIT exam and my daughter. I do tend to get stressed out easily but always try to stay positive. Iâm pretty down to earth and low key.
