I think art that shows the process is more appealing than extremely clean drawing (in most cases). A lot of people just say they "like" or "dislike" a piece of art, without really trying to think about it. There's all sorts of interesting questions and observations that can be made about a piece of art, and there's not really any right or wrong answer. Some of my likes and interests, and aspects of my personality, sort of contradict each other... I like Nine Inch Nails and Tool, but also Regina Spektor and ambient/nature soundscapes. Some people call me quiet (I just like to take time before I speak), but I'm perfectly happy joking around with friends.
