After finishing college was in the Navy for a few years stationed in California, South Carolina, and New York. Also participated in a counter drug operations deployment in the South Pacific and Caribbean (not quite as much fun as a Carnival cruise, mind you). It was quite the experience, but I started missing simple things like being able to choose what city to live in so I decided to return to civilian live. Threw a dart at a map of the US (well, not literally) and found myself here in Texas! I run the 2nd shift at a large chemical manufacturing plant, which means I generally don't get home until after 11PM. I stay up late and I'm bad at remembering that the rest of the world is on a different schedule. If I had a nickel for every time I got cursed out for calling my friends when they're trying to sleep...Well, I'm not sure if I'd be rich, but lets just say I'd be able to easily afford all the toll roads around here!
