Eating raw carrots gives me gas. I stood in the room where the Last Supper took place, raced sailboats in Sydney Harbor, touched the Berlin Wall, and survived a night "alone" with 16 4th grade boys in a Sierra cabin. I like to cook, but don't have a big repertoire. My photo of an author appears on the inside of his book jacket. I was the cookie chairman for my daughter's troop 4 years in a row. I floss. I owned a photography business in college. I love walking in the solitude of a winter blizzard. Prior to moving into Dc I was living in northern New England attending school. It took me awhile to warm up to New England, but I grew to love it. It was enough for me to have one rigorous mountain to hike up and an idyllic lake to swim in. In DC I've found some regular hobbies to keep me entertained as well. I'm especially fond of the drum circle in Malcom x/meridian hill, playing chess, walking around rock creek park, biking around DC digging the architecture and the light.
