Tuscany is on my travel wishlist. I imagined the colors from the vineyards and olive groves when I dyed this group of yarns. The greens are from the olive trees and olives themselves, and the cabernet tones from the vineyards. Rust tones complement the group. This lincoln handspun has a thick-n-thin texture to it. You will receive a single ply skein, 50 yards, and 3 oz. I imagine using several different fibers from this group in a fabulous texture-rich shawl. Check out the others, rambouillet and churro, and start designing These have been in a smoke-free, cat-free environment. Occasionally, my two dogs have frequented the studio. This beauty measures 9.5 inches wide and 20 inches long. I loved it sooo much I have done it in 2 different samples for you to see The first done in black with sandstone writing. The second sign has been basecoated in black, topped in navy and lettered in tan as well.. I have heavily sanded it so the black shows through. It looks so worn and prim!! This sign looks as though it has been around for years. We make no attempt to cover natural wood markings, knots etc we feel this adds to the character of the sign.
