We recently made broadsides for the So and So poetry series. The series started in Boston as a side project of poet and Raleigh-ite Chris Tonelli and is now hosted in collaboration with the Raleigh Quarterly. The So and So made its Raleigh debut in February to a packed houseaby poetry reading standards at least. This time around, featured poets were Justin Marks, kathryn l. pringle, and Chris Vitiello. Done on wood with a combination of silkscreen and spray paint with a dash of regular old house paint. 16 were made for each poem. The elements and colors schemes are the same for each but the composition of yours may vary from the picture here. This handmade spoon bracelet falls between 7 1/2" - 7 3/4" in size and is the "Raleigh" Pattern circa 1900 Most patterns I use are very hard to come by as I like to find the more unique styles and some are too difficult to work with and may not be offered again. If you really like a certain one, don't let it get away! These beautiful bracelets are hand crafted from only vintage silverware to create elegant, affordable pieces of jewelry. As these are vintage pieces, some may have very minor signs of acharactera adding to their charm which generally isn't visible unless you're quite close. Each bracelet is formed from two spoons, cut, drilled and filed all by hand. I use double split rings for durability and lobster clasps. All are carefully polished before and after creation.
