I joined the army at 18 to get out of the small town. Did 2 years in the army, mostly in Fort Hood, then I got accepted to a federal service academy. Went there for 4 years, sailed to Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science, and now I'm a tugboat pilot. I drive a tugboat all over the Western Rivers, which is basically the Mississippi River and its tributaries. I go to Pittsburg, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Mobile, Houston, Corpus, Brownsville... basically everywhere. I bought a house near Texas City though.
